Year 9 students were immersed in to ‘money’ lessons this week in order to support My Money Week. The nationwide initiative aims to get young people interested in ‘real life’ financial matters.
Today’s lesson covered ‘payday’ and involved looking at payslips and calculating income tax for different professions.
The students enjoyed the content and their ideas generated some very purposeful classroom discussion. Well done Year 9!
