North Bromsgrove High School Year 11 students celebrate exam success

North Bromsgrove High School is celebrating significant improvements in the achievements of its students, including a rise in the school’s overall attainment figure, an increase in the number of students attaining grade 5 or higher in both maths and English and a substantial improvement in the number of students achieving the E-Bacc measure.

Mike Horton, Assistant Headteacher commented, “We are pleased to see so many subject areas improve on their achievements from last year and this has led to improvements across many of the key benchmark figures that schools are judged upon.”

Exceptional performances included:

Lukas Pye – nine grade 9s, two grade 7s and an A

Mackenzie Waller – seven grade 9s, four grade 7s and an A

Jim Round – four grade 9s, five grade 8s and an A

Teigan Lilly – three grade 9s, four grade 8s and two grade 7s

Lucy Ring – three grade 9s and four grade 7s

Lucas Pye commented, “I am thrilled with my results. The teachers at North have been amazing and have more than helped me to secure the grades that I need for Sixth Form.”

Head teacher Nick Gibson was delighted with the results: “I would like to congratulate students on their achievements, which reflect the hard work and commitment they have demonstrated over the past three years, together with the high levels of support offered from our teachers and parents. We wish all of our students the very best for the future and look forward to supporting many of them through their A level studies.”
