Mr Gibson Headteacher stated ‘We are so proud of our North family and we are thrilled with our Ofsted report in which inspectors recognise all the hard work, achievement and high standards taking place across our fantastic school.’

The report appears after four years since the last inspection in 2019 in which it was judged ‘Requires Improvement’. Ofsted rated every area across the school as ‘Good’ and cites the many rapid improvements that have taken place since the previous inspection under Mr Gibson’s Headship. The report’s findings are particularly impressive given the two years of disruption to education caused by the Covid pandemic.

Inspectors were quick to recognise the work across the school stating ‘Leaders and staff work tirelessly to realise their vision of an inclusive community school. All are reaping the rewards of their collective endeavour’.

Many supportive parents also provided positive feedback in which one family cited ‘we have been delighted to witness both our son and his school develop together over the past five years’.

Mr Gibson added ‘We have a talented and committed staff who have worked hard to achieve the accolades cited in the report. Equally, the Ofsted report combined with an excellent set of exam results, together with the school being oversubscribed is testament to the dedication and expertise of our staff’.

Chair of Governors Sue Milsom cited ‘Governors are extremely pleased with the report and we are delighted that Ofsted has recognised all of the excellent work which takes place across North Bromsgrove High School. We can be extremely proud of the judgements shared in the report as it highlights the many successes achieved by staff and students’.

Mr Gibson stated ‘When I first took Headship four years ago, I set out our simple mandate that NBHS would be ‘the school of choice across the area’. The future of North Bromsgrove looks very exciting, and I would add that the ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement together with a strong set of examinations results and high demand for student places puts the school in a very strong position going forward’.
