Press Release: North Bromsgrove High School A Level Results 2022
Students and staff at North Bromsgrove High School are celebrating success as A Level results were released today.
“Congratulations go to our Sixth Form students who have achieved a strong set of results this year”, said Headteacher, Nick Gibson. “We are delighted with our students’ performance and it is a real credit to their hard work and diligence, who have been well supported by our committed staff. The progress that our students have achieved over the past two years, overcoming the various challenges posed by the pandemic, with a truly comprehensive intake of students is extremely impressive.
Nationally, many students were unable to sit GCSEs in 2020 and so this summer’s exams were the first external assessments that this cohort have taken. Virtually all students have achieved the grades they require to go on to University or their selected post-18 destination. “
Director of Sixth Form, Daniel Taylor, added, “I couldn’t be prouder of these students. The resilience and determination shown by each and everyone of them throughout has been remarkable. Thanks also go to the tremendous efforts of staff and the unstinting support from parents. Amongst many outstanding results, several students excelled, brothers Adam and Alex Harris secured A*A*A and AAA respectively whilst Ben Harvey with A*AA, Hope Eades AAA, Leo Carrington-Crook AAA and Lois Roberts A*A*B all achieved outstanding results.
Many of our students have gained entry to top universities, pursuing courses such as Law, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science.
Our Sixth Form is still open for enquiries from Year 11 students or parents of students still unsure of their next academic step. Contact is recommended by the 30th August via nbhs6th@northbromsgrove.worcs.sch.uk.
