North celebrates with PRIDE!

The month of June is ear-marked to celebrate the diversity and inclusion within society of LGBTQ+ members. 

As a school, we are one North family and as with any family, we are made up of different personalities and strengths. What pulls us together is the inclusion within this family and the ability and recognition that you belong. We held a vibrant celebration of Pride, along with World Music Day and an opportunity to raise much needed supplies for the foodbank collection at The Basement Project. 

Along with singing, dancing, artwork and the whole school decorating their doors in rainbow colours, the staff were also visible allies. All of the senior leadership team wore rainbow colours to celebrate our school culture of inclusivity, individuality and unique gifts that everyone possesses across our North family. The principles of mutual respect and being unafraid to celebrate the individual traits of all who work and learn across our North family with such enthusiasm and vigour is something we are proud of and celebrate with passion.
