House elections and final results

What a busy start we have had to the new term with Miss Shipman, our new House Lead, launching the whole school, House Elections.

Firstly, students had to decide if they had what was needed to be the Form Representative and speak for their group at the newly formed House Council. In order to do this, students needed to vote during form time for who would be this elected candidate. Achieving this leadership role was only the start of the process as once all Form Representatives had been voted into position, they were then all placed on a ballot for students to vote for their Year Team, House Council Representative!

With additional leadership responsibility, a raised profile across the school and the Year 13 students monitoring the process, it was an exciting countdown!

The elections took place over three consecutive lunch times overseen by the Year 13 House Team. It got busier each day as students discussed the various merits of each candidate. Many students from varying year groups came along to cast their votes creating a huge buzz around the school atrium!

The votes are now in and the successful candidates are revealed below! Many congratulations to everyone who took part.

Well done to everyone who took part, and we cannot wait to see how our House system evolves and helps shape our school over the coming year.
