Children's Mental Health Week

Children’s Mental Health Week

Next week is Children’s Mental Health Week and we are asking all staff, students and parents to get involved.

The theme for this year is ‘express yourself’ and we have devised a five day wish you wellbeing challenge!

There are 10 house points for every day you take part in one of the suggested activities and each day has its own theme:

Mindful Monday            Tasty Tuesday          Wordy Wednesday            Thoughtful Thursday              Fancy Friday

The 5 day wish you wellbeing document where you evidence your activities by uploading photos and writing about what activities you have completed each day is here.

We would like to draw your attention in particular to Fancy Friday, where we are asking everyone to wear fancy dress. This is an advanced notice so you can organise an outfit before the end of next week! We want to receive lots of photos of you teaching in your fancy dress and wearing it throughout the day!

Resources and ideas for the week will be published on the school website.

Next week is the opportunity for NBHS to raise awareness for children’s mental health and at the same time highlight the importance of wellbeing for all.
