We celebrated the end of Pride month with a joyous walk around the school site. Our school values of Respect and Community were embodied in this action: we embrace all children in our care and want them to feel the inclusive nature of North.
With music, dance, rainbow flags and sports events at lunchtime, our school community celebrated as one with cheers ringing through the atrium.
As we walked through every corridor and playground, we hope that the children who remain silent for whatever their own reasons, know there are in a safe space.
With all staff wearing their Ally badges - and children supporting their friends, we are one North family: not here to judge, but here to learn from each other and support our community.
