Year 10 Return to School

We are very excited to welcoming back our Year 10 students next week, in small ‘bubble’ groups. If you have not already, please see Mr Gibson’s letter which can be found here

Further contact has been made with parents and carers regarding which ‘bubble’ your daughter/son is in, as well as information about when to attend school and how to access our building. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Hodgson to discuss further:

Year 12 Provision

From Monday 15 June we will further enhance our distance learning provision for Year 12 by increasing the frequency of virtual sessions to once per week, and with a greater focus on teaching rather than Q&A sessions. A provisional timetable will be available to students from Monday 15 June and reviewed fortnightly. This increased student teacher interaction will support the introduction of new subject content to students in the coming weeks. We have also taken the decision to postpone the End of Year 12 examinations until the autumn term. All general enquiries to: For specific questions, please contact Miss Figg, Head of Sixth Form to discuss further

Well done to Year 9 and 10 who are making great strides in the GCSEPod Challenge. At the moment, Year 9 are ahead with the completion of 937 Pods, compared to Year 10’s 648, but anything can happen next week, so keep Podding! Remember that Pods can also be used to revisit topics from last year, as well as current work, and there will be prizes for the highest users.
